From Julio Appling of Extroverted Introversion. “This is a cocoa latte from Sahagun Chocolates in Portland, OR. While I love my espresso, I’m not much of a chocolate fan (sacrilege!). Regardless, the owner, chocolatier extraordinaire Elizabeth Montes, seemed to have something for everyone. The cocoa was rich with flavor but not too sweet. I highly recommend.”

From Julio Appling, Vancouver WA. “This was the first day of recent excursion to Buenos Aires, Argentina. While I’m not normally a straight double-espresso kind of guy, following a 10-hour international flight, a café double hit the spot just perfectly. It was served with a mini fudge ball and a candied orange peel.”
Try not to be jealous of his life, ok? But the candied orange peel idea…I am stealing that one.
Julio is a musician/educator who also loves coffee enough to blog about it. Check out Extroverted Introversion.

Good friends let you take pictures of them and never complain. This is my good friend Vicki. At Temple Coffee in Sacramento. And I promise, this is the last of the espresso tasting class photos!

From Katia Coltriani. “I live a double life (the past 2 years) between Minnesota and Italy. My love for coffee has come handy. The Italian coffee is a different planet from my Caramel Macchiato, but I have to say I sure miss it when in Italy.”

I’ve been saving this photo for a morning when it would be really, really, really nice for someone else to do the coffee and the dishes. From Christine of Homemade in China. This is part of her Days of Gray series, though I like to think of it as day for someone to make me happy by getting me another cup. Heh.

How much do you love this mug? From Elizabeth Salaam in San Diego.
“The photo I’ve attached is from an old school greasy spoon in San Diego. It was recommended to me by a crazy fun local musician. The coffee put some oomph in my day for sure! I ate a grilled cheese and fries with it.”
Grilled cheese, fries and a great mug. Life is good, eh? Elizabeth writes for a local alternative weekly, the San Diego Reader and has a what’s-cool-to-do-in-SD blog called The Yuki Pages. Maybe you should go to San Diego, where it’s always sunny and perfect, and you should let her hook you up. And while you’re at it, you can grab that mug for me, ok?.

A leftover cup from my espresso tasting class at Temple Coffee last weekend. Also, my response to the doctor who suggested to me that I might want to consider cutting back on my caffeine. I don’t think so.

Reina gets some serious sparkle from her coffee. I don’t know how she does it, or sees it, but I want some of it. Check out more of Reina’s macro magic on her Flickr photostream, here.
