From Natalie, South Korea (how cool is that?). And of course there’s a story.
“currently, i find myself fresh out of university. since jobs were few to be found and adventure called my name, my best friend and i headed out to south korea, to teach english to elementary students. upon arriving here…much to our horror…the coffee situation is quite limited. i mean, the selection of beans to by, coming by a grinder…has proved to have its difficulties. we have somehow managed. our mothers, even sent us our favorite brews from home for christmas. but one wonderful thing about korea is, each and every coffee shop here has the most amazing talent to make possibly the best, most astounding, mouth-watering, pulse- stopping latte i have ever sipped. and the beauty of their creation in a small cup, is even better!
this picture was taken in november, after a full day of working with my young students, teaching them about the American holiday, Thanksgiving. after a long day of teaching, i treated myself to a warm latte and browsing through the pile of 200 handcrafted hand-turkeys created by my students.”
Natalie is keeping two blogs about her adventure, emanation (with her best friend, Micaela) and life in color. I promise you, if you visit, you will lose yourself in them.
I am feeling more thankful already.
