“The Beach Bum Café is a new “microbrew” coffee house in downtown Honolulu. As soon as I sat down at the bar, the guy next to me urged me try the siphon-brewed coffee, if I had the time to wait for it. Out popped an elaborate coffee chemistry set, complete with a Bunsen burner, to brew my freshly-ground beans. It was fascinating to watch and yielded a very nice cup of coffee.”
