Diana Sudbeck, South Minneapolis, Minnesota
“If you’ve ever been to Minneapolis, you would know that it has quite a large population of bikers. And no, not motorcyclists (however, we have a lot of those, too) but i mean pedal spinning, brake clasping, gear shifting, bicyclists. And one could assume that with a large population of bikers, there would be a large population of bike maintenance shops, right? Well, bike shops around these parts usually go one step further and offer a coffee bar alongside their tune-up counter. So, while you’re bike gets a little fix-me-up, you can sit back and enjoy a shot of espresso…or two.
It just so happened that I found myself in just this situation the other day. I needed a part for my bike and while it was getting a little touch-up, I drifted towards the coffee bar. Soaking in the unique menu, I decided to take a risk and step away from my usual dark roast. After placing my order, the barista delivered the most beautiful and delicious of drinks I have had in some time…
And as to what’s inside the cup? Well, I got lost somewhere after cinnamin and graham cracker flakes sprinkled on top..”.
I don’t know much about Diana, except that she loves a good cup and tells a good story. And sometimes that’s just the best, eh?
