Good ideas and grand intention, fueled by coffee. Just a little more energy and a few more hours in the day, and something interesting could happen. Mishka’s Cafe with Tracy and Mark, Davis, CA.

Friday morning at Mishka’s with Tracy and Mark. Trying to start a conversation that will change the world, or perhaps more humbly, make our corner of the world a little more meaningful. Davis, CA.
647. cornwall, too
Sally Mitchell, Cornwall, England. Sally is from Design Room Cornwall Ltd.
I’m not entirely sure if this is the same cup as number 646, or her companion’s cup. Either way, it was too pretty to keep to myself.
646. coffee in cornwall
Sally Mitchell, Cornwall, England.
“Just thought I’d share with you a lovely cup of coffee from a new indie coffee shop that’s opened up near us called 108 Coffee House. Its across the pond from you, here in Cornwall in the UK.”

645. four barrel, continued
Brooke Appler, Oakland, CA.
(previously, as told by coffee cup number 644….) “we happened to meet on park(ing) day — a day when sf (and some east bay) businesses take over a car parking spot and turn it into a hangout spot for pedestrians. i think four barrel may have this wood/steel structure in front of their store all the time but i’m not sure. it makes for some great bike parking.”

Brooke Appler, Oakland, CA.
“i met the coolest german girl, jenni, at the sf zine fest a few weekends ago and i asked her to coffee. she’s sooo awesome- only about 22 and has travelled alone all over the world. i really wanted to show her four barrel in the mission (sf) b/c it has such a beautiful space. talking to her reminded me of my awesome trips travelling abroad and alone…. ” (to be continued…see coffee cup number 645)

643. magic coffee
Janine Graf, Redmond, WA.
“At a magic convention in Portland, OR. Too bad I forgot to pack my sequined leotard and cape. Could have really used them too because I was called up to help assist one of the magicians during his act. Hindsight is always 20/20.”
Janine runs the Flickr Group, Caffeine Nation. Her Flickr photostream is here and her photo Facebook page is here. Janine also sells 5×5 art prints of her fabulous coffee photos here.

641. twice as ice
Michelle Carter, Texas. Michelle’s blog is My So-Called Handmade Life. She writes about this specific cup (and her love of iced coffee) here. Perfect way to end the summer and celebrate the weekend, I think. After the beer, of course.
