626. bag o’ coffee

Jesse Sie, Singapore.

Jesse brought us coffee in a can (here), and now he introduces us to coffee in a bag. Or as I like to think of it, coffee that is ready for my IV.  Here is Jesse’s description:

“This is a  ‘coffee packet’ to go, probably left by a construction worker.  When you order a coffee to go from a mom & pop coffee shop, your coffee will normally be served to you in a small transparent plastic bag with a straw stuck into the drink. This has been the ‘norm’  ever since I can remember. In fact, this is the packaging of choice for other refreshments too, be it cold or hot.”

I really don’t know what to say about this. I still think it looks like a caffeinated IV bag, which could be useful.

Jesse’s blog is The Content Guy.

625. there’s coffee in there somewhere

Jerry Piester, Sacramento CA.

“Here is one of my homemade treats.  It’s a Mocha of sorts, made with three shots of espresso, steamed whole
milk,  Breyers chocolate ice cream,  and Breyers vanilla ice cream with vanilla beans.  The  ice cream is steamed along with the milk.  Needless to say not a diet thing.”
