936. coffee in the dolomites

Andrea Vestergaard, Copenhagen, Denmark.

“Coffee from the Dolomite Mountains, near the Italian border.”

Andrea is my daughter’s best friend. She was an exchange student last year and even though she lived around the corner, she was a welcome addition to our family. We miss you Andrea, as much as you miss the sunshine and salsa!

“This is from a Danish coffee chain like the American Starbucks. Our coffee chain is called Baresso and it is also good coffee, but of course you can find much better coffee at the smaller caffés.”

934. brown cup from blue bottle

Andrea Vestergaard, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Blue Bottle Cafe at The Ferry Building, San Francisco. I think this was on one of our SF trips…after Coit Tower, but between Chinatown and the Giants game (was that before or after the Haight Ashbury jaunt?). I think the girls had coffee while Steve and I hung out at the wine bar. Heh.
