Winter on the patio. I love California.

Friday afternoon on the patio at Bows and Arrows in Sacramento.

Nine hours from San Diego to Davis. The only real break we took was in Santa Nella at Anderson’s Pea Soup. It wasn’t until just this moment that I realized how ridiculous it is to base a restaurant on pea soup.

Woke up to a few clouds, but sunshine peeking through. The truth is, it never rains long in Southern California and we had a lovely day yesterday as well. Today’s sunshine will be spent on the drive home, but I am hoping for coffee along the way.

Woke to rain this morning. Wandered out the front door onto the beach for my coffee. Still in my PJs. Luckily, no one was around.
