This weekend we stayed with our favorite friends Kevin and Chip. Dinner, wine, lots and lots of stories (lots), followed in the morning by Chip’s cappuccinos and Kevin’s huevos rancheros. The perfect visit included their practically perfect dog, Jack.

Janine Graf, Redmond, WA.
“I think I love taking pictures of my cappuccino almost as much as drinking it. And it’s not just my cappuccino; I love looking at other people’s pictures of their coffee / cappuccinos / lattes. Like flowers, an image of coffee just makes me happy.”
Janine runs the Flickr Group, Caffeine Nation. Like me, she just can’t get enough, so she musters up a little more. Flickr photostream is here and her photo Facebook page is here.

When in Rome…”There was an interesting mirror shelf next to our table at breakfast, so here is Cappuccino x4! I also love how they make a little heart out of the foam.”

Quinn Pendleton, Monaco.
From Quinn’s recent trip to Rome. “Nothing beats the coffee in Italy, I think I must have had at least four cappuccino’s a day!”
Yeah, me too.

70. a little bit of italy in texas
From Kim Hinds, who is a photographer and blogger in Texas. “My morning cappuccino in my favorite Italian coffee cup. If only I was sitting in a cafe’ in Italy while drinking it.”
For an extra treat, her email signature included this quote: If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.” -Thomas Jefferson. How’s that for a little morning kickstart?
