I met Dianne Van de Carr (see photo number 65) on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning this photo and story was waiting in my email. I love this blog project for that exact reason.
“While traveling in Greece we first encountered the worst coffee of our trip. Nescafe! It even comes in special cups to remind us it is not real. But it was hot and we drank it anyway. Who convinced the Greeks and Turks that this is real coffee? We didn’t have a good cup until 2 weeks later when one of the friends on our boat trip produced a French Press and Peet’s Coffee she’d carried from the US! Salvation!”
